Kitchen Design at Potomac, MD: custom cabinets, new appliances, quartz countertop, microwave drawer, double oven, and gas cooktop with downdraft are just a few details from this renovation. Additionally, we added more cabinets to the breakfast nook area which enlarged the storage space dramatically. We moved the corner sink and made it the focal point. A dysfunctional tiny build-in pantry was replaced by two full size pantries with pull out shelves. We kept the existing desk area and put matching cabinets there. The island was positioned diagonally and it received a dramatic transformation: we moved it, added more functional cabinets and drawers, used half circle countertop on the sitting side to keep area open enough to sit and walk behind comfortably. We also added a special pull-out drawer to the side of the island with dog bowls to keep the space neat. The butler pantry received new cabinets, matching backsplash and a wine shelf. A beautiful backsplash pulls all the kitchen design together; it has glass, stone, and metal details within a multicolor liner design.
I love this project: transitional design combined with classic cabinets and modern touches.
